What time does the movie start?
The movie will commence just after sundown, it is important that there is no sunlight at all to ensure a perfect picture. The time of commencement will obviously depend on the time of the year and whether there is daylight savings.
How long does it take to set up?
It takes approximately 2 hours to set up for the show and about 1 hour to pack the equipment up.
What about insurance?
Movies by Moonlight is fully covered for public liability insurance.
What about venue requirements?
We require a relatively flat surface for the screen. The screen is nine metres long. The speakers go either side of the screen. The projector needs to be 25 metres in front of the screen. Patrons will be seated behind the projector which provides perfect viewing for the movie.
What are power requirements?
Single phase mains power is required. Two power socket will be needed, the first for the screen and speakers, the second for mixer, blue-ray player and projector.
What movie should I choose?
The choice of movies is endless, however they must be approved firstly by the distributors and must be available on DVD. You can access the following movie distributors for their movie catalogue.
What if it rains?
Unfortunately we can not predict Mother Nature. If it does rain, we will work with you to have the movie on another night that is best for both parties.
